Happy Valentine's Day 2022.
Whether you're celebrating with your other half or best friend this evening, it's Monday, so either way, you totally deserve a cocktail.
Ingredients (Serves Two)
- 100ml Nantwich Gin
- 50ml Rose Simple Syrup
- Edible Dried Rose Petals
- Prosecco
- Ice
Method
Rose Syrup can either be store-bought or made at home.
Place a few ice cubes into a cocktail shaker and add the gin and rose syrup. Shake for 20-30 seconds and strain into your fanciest cocktail glasses. Top up each glass with Prosecco and garnish with a sprinkling of edible dried rose petals.
To Make the Rose Simple Syrup at Home:
Add water, sugar and a handful of dried rose petals into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir until the sugar dissolves. Allow the concoction to simmer for a moment before removing from the heat and letting the syrup steep for ten-to-fifteen minutes. Strain the syrup into a container and allow to cool.
