On Friday 3rd September, we held our long belated launch party for Nantwich Gin at The White Lion, Weston - a gin garden party with live music from saxophonist Nick Rushworth, plenty of gin cocktails and featuring a gorgeous homeware stand by Anna and Dan from Forest & Clay.
Nantwich Gin was officially launched in November 2020 in the midst of a national lockdown. Unfortunately, this meant that plans for a launch party were put on hold until one could safely take place. So, in true 'better late than never' style, we worked with the fantastic team at The White Lion to organise a gin garden party.
The event saw locals, patrons and friends of Cheshire Botanicals make their way to the pub to sample the cocktails, put together by the Nantwich Gin and White Lion teams: these included the Nantwich Gin martini, the perfect serve G&T and the Nantwich Gin iced tea. (Pop in to the White Lion at Weston soon and these might just be available on the menu...!)
On the approach to the party, we also held a competition on our social media. The prizes included a Nantwich Gin hamper and a meal for two at the White Lion's 1652 restaurant. The two lucky winners were announced the following Monday - congratulations to both!
Providing tasters and the stories behind our signature gin, it was great to meet and chat with some new faces. We're glad that the selfie board was a hit, too!
We were thrilled with the success of our first public event and we hope to see you at many more in the future. An enormous thank you to all who joined the party, to the team at White Lion and everybody behind the scenes for making this event possible. We hope you enjoyed the evening and we'll see you very soon!
